What we're looking for
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to help us build supply-side relationships, as well as to assist in general business activities. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a database of ambulances and hospitals, bringing them on board, conducting manual audits and trial runs, ensuring high adherence with respect to set standards, and managing these relationships. You will also assist in managing a command centre that will run our 24X7 medical helpline.
Responsibilities
- Contact potential suppliers through cold calling, emails and messages.
- Pitch to and persuade suppliers to work with us, offering industry-best compensation, incentives and terms.
- Close terms and conditions with suppliers (SLAs, compensation, incentives and penalties).
- Provide feedback so as to enable customisation of operational workflows to suit the supplier.
- Maintain a tracker of suppliers including area coverage, how they work, service quality, etc.
- Conduct manual audits to verify supplier compliance with SLAs, hygiene and service quality.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance with respect to SLAs, reliability, hygiene and service quality, and ensure high levels of adherence.
- Assist in managing a call centre to run a 24X7 helpline, ensure adherence to SOPs, prepare reports on individual and team performance, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 1-5 years of experience, ideally with some responsibility for managing people.
- Must have excellent oral communication skills in Hindi and at least proficiency in English.
- Must have strong phone and oral communication skills.
- Must have strong people skills with a high focus on customer experience and an ability to build relationships.
- Must be honest, willing to learn, punctual and self-driven.
- A minimum of a high school degree is required.
- Must be willing to move to or be based out of Gurugram.
